Note: Jet.Js ia ALPA yet, can have any bugs. Found a bug, report Here.

Getting Started

Jet is easy to use — you don’t need any build tools or complex setup. Just include the development or production file directly in your HTML, and you’re ready to go.

The development version is great for learning and debugging. It includes extra tools like a developer console and detailed logs.

Note: Development Tools is in development yet, more features coming…

The production version is smaller and faster, perfect for real-world projects.

Quick Start with <script> Tag

To begin using Jet in your project, just include one of the provided files in your HTML:

After including the script, you can define components globally using the com() function:

<!-- Development version (with debug tools) -->
<script src="jet-dev.js"></script>
<!-- OR Production version (minified, optimized) -->
<script src="jet.js"></script>

Component Example

com({
name: 'hello-world',
tpl() { return `<h1>Hello World!</h1>`; }
});

Using Jet as an ES Module

If you’re building a larger app and using a bundler like Webpack, Vite, or Rollup, Jet also works as a modern module.

Import only what you need:

import { com, app } from './jet-dev.js'; //development version
// or
import { com, app } from './jet.js' //production version

Note: Currently they do not differ much, but then development version will have development tool console and some more features

Using Jet via CDN

Coming in stable version

⚠️Note: This documentation is still being written and updated regularly. For now it rather short, but will be detailed and will be added more examples. Jet.js is in alpha, so features may change or improve quickly.
